This is a beautiful basket it is 8" long 7-1/2" wide and depending on if you have the handle up it is 10" tall handle down it is 5" tall.  The basket has the country green and mauve colors on it.  I have just placed the ivy in the basket it is not glued that way you can take it out and use just the basket or leave it in.  However you display it you will add country charm to any table in any room of your home.
